Das ATAVRSBIN2 ist eine 9 Degrees of Freedom Erweiterung für die Atmel Xplain Boards.
Auf dem Board befindet sich:

• 3-Achsen Magnetometer von Honeywell (HMC5883L)
• 3-Achsen Accelerometer von Kionix (KXTF9-1026)
• 3-Achsen Gyroscope von InvenSense (IMU-3000)

Die Sensoren kommunizieren über I2C mit dem Xplain.

ATAVRSBIN2 Sensors Xplained Inertial Two System Board is a part of Atmel Xplained series of evaluation and development tools that provides a compatible series of Processor Boards, System Boards and Software Environment enabling easy selection and development across a wide range of 8 to 32 bit AVR processor products.

The Inertial Two System Board delivers a full 9 degree of freedom sensor platform comprising

• a 3 Axis Magnetometer from Honeywell (HMC5883L)
• a 3 Axis Accelerometer from Kionix (KXTF9-1026)
• a 3 Axis Gyroscope from InvenSense (IMU-3000)
connected through an I2C interface.

This platform is ideal for developing a wide range of interface, control and monitoring applications.
