Das FEZ Music Shield ist ein Aufsteckboard für die FEZ Panda (II), FEZ Domino oder die Arduino Boards. Auf dem Shield befindet sich der VLSI VS1053 Ogg Vorbis, MP3, AAC, WMA, FLAC und MIDI Decoder.

The music shield incorporates VS1053 codec from VLSI http://www.vlsi.fi/en/products/vs1053.html. This codec is capable of decoding Ogg Vorbis, MP3, AAC, WMA, FLAC and MIDI. Also it can encode audio to PCM or Ogg Vorbis.

The unique shape of the shield brings the audio connectors to the front (in and out) and also leaves a cutout for a better fit when the shield is combined with FEZ Connect shield.

Few simple lines of code are plenty enough to play music from SD cards, USB memory stick or even stream audio over the network.

Works Perfectly whit FEZ Panda II, FEZ Domino, original FEZ Panda and even works with Arduino and its derivatives.
