Arduino Ethernet-Shield Kit (NKC)

Ardumoto - MotorDriver-Shield (SparkFun)

This is a motor shield for Arduino that will control two DC motors. Based on the L298 H-bridge, the Ardumoto can drive up to 2 amps per channel. The board takes its power from the same Vin line as the Arduino board,  includes blue and yellow LEDs to indicate active direction, and all driver lines are diode protected from back EMF.

Bluetooth Mate Silver

The Bluetooth Mate is very similar to our BlueSMiRF modem, but it is designed specifically to be used with our Arduino Pros and LilyPad Arduinos. These modems work as a serial (RX/TX) pipe, and are a great wireless replacement for serial cables. Any serial stream from 9600 to 115200bps can be passed seamlessly from your computer to your target.

CAN-BUS Shield (SparkFun)

EL Escudo

The EL Escudo is an Arduino shield that drives EL wire. Electroluminescent wire is this really neat, flexible cord that emits a florescent light. Some times referred to as 'cool neon' because the cord does not heat up. The kicker is that EL wire runs on high voltage AC - about 125V at 425Hz. While EL wire requires very little power, you can't use normal transistors to turn on/off a string of it. So we created the EL Escudo that uses TRIACs to control up to 8 channels.

Ethernet-Shield with Poe Module (Arduino)

The Arduino Ethernet Shield allows an Arduino board to connect to the internet. It is based on the Wiznet W5100 ethernet chip (datasheet). The Wiznet W5100 provides a network (IP) stack capable of both TCP and UDP. It supports up to four simultaneous socket connections. Use the Ethernet library to write sketches which connect to the internet using the shield. The ethernet shield connects to an Arduino board using long wire-wrap headers which extend through the shield. This keeps the pin layout intact and allows another shield to be stacked on top.

FEZ Music Shield

The music shield incorporates VS1053 codec from VLSI http://www.vlsi.fi/en/products/vs1053.html. This codec is capable of decoding Ogg Vorbis, MP3, AAC, WMA, FLAC and MIDI. Also it can encode audio to PCM or Ogg Vorbis.

Monster Moto Shield (SparkFun)

This is essentially a ramped up version of our Ardumoto motor driver shield. For this monster shield we've replaced the L298 H-bridge with a pair of VNH2SP30 full-bridge motor drivers. Motor Driver Shield - Pololu Dual VNH5019

Get your Arduino moving! This shield makes it easy to control two high-power DC motors with your Arduino or Arduino-compatible board. Its dual robust VNH5019 motor drivers operate from 5.5 to 24 V and can deliver a continuous 12 A (30 A peak) per motor, or a continuous 24 A (60 A peak) to a single motor connected to both channels. These great drivers also offer current-sense feedback and accept ultrasonic PWM frequencies for quieter operation. The Arduino pin mappings can all be customized if the defaults are not convenient, and the motor driver control lines are broken out along the left side of the shield for general-purpose use without an Arduino.

PoEthernet Shield

Ethernet connectivity is a great way to get your Arduino talking to other systems all over the world (or at least the network). But sometimes running an Ethernet cable is hard enough, why should you have to run a power cable too? That's where PoE comes into play: Power over Ethernet. The PoEthernet Shield not only give your Arduino access to the Internet via the Ethernet Library but it also allows your project to power itself from the Ethernet line (provided you've injected power to it somewhere down the line).
