FTDI Breakout Reloaded V1.1

Product description

This is a breakout board for the FTDI FT232R USB to serial converter.
The pin assignment is compatible with all official Arduinos + Arduino clones and it is also suitable for the MakerBot hardware.
In addition, the board provides a connector for programming Parallax Propeller boards and Basic Stamps.
The FTDI Breakout can provide a 3.3 V (max. 50mA) or 5V supply voltage.

Advantages over the FTDI Basic Breakout:

• A switch to change between 5V and 3.3V operation. There is no complicated soldering required.
• It is also possible to program the Parallax Propeller and  Basic Stamps. (compatible with Parallax Prog-Plug)
• Overcurrent protection with resettable polyswitch fuse.
