120:1 Mini Plastic Gearmotor 90-Degree 3mm D-Shaft Output

This compact, inexpensive, low-current gearmotor (brushed DC motor with a 120:1 reduction gearbox) is well suited for use in small robots. At 4.5 V, it has a free-run speed of 120 RPM and a stall torque of approximately 20 oz-in (however, the built-in safety clutch might start slipping before the stall torque is reached). The D-shaped output shaft has a diameter of 3 mm and works with the Pololu wheels and 3mm universal aluminum mounting hub. This gearbox output shaft is perpendicular to the motor shaft.

298:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor HP

A4988 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier, Black Edition

Our Black Edition A4988 stepper motor driver carrier is a higher-performance drop-in replacement for the original A4988 stepper motor driver carrier. It features a four-layer PCB for better thermal performance, allowing the A4988 microstepping bipolar stepper motor driver to deliver approximately 20% more current than our two-layer version. Like our original carrier, the Black Edition offers adjustable current limiting, overcurrent protection, and five different microstep resolutions. It operates from 8 – 35 V and can deliver up to 2 A per coil with sufficient additional cooling.

ACS709 Current Sensor Carrier -75 to +75A

This board is a simple carrier of Allegro’s ±75A ACS709 Hall effect-based linear current sensor with overcurrent fault output, which offers a low-resistance (~1.1 mΩ) current path and electrical isolation up to 2.1 kV RMS. The sensor has optimized accuracy for currents from -37.5 to 37.5 A, and the analog voltage output is linear for current magnitudes up to 75 A. The ratiometric output voltage is centered at VCC/2 and has a typical error of ±2%. It operates from 3 to 5.5 V, so it can interface directly to both 3.3 V and 5 V systems.

ACS714 Current Sensor Carrier -5 to +5A

This board is a simple carrier for Allegro’s ±5A ACS714 Hall effect-based linear current sensor. This version accepts a bidirectional current input with a magnitude up to 5 A. The output is an analog voltage (185 mV/A) centered at 2.5 V with a typical error of less than 1.5%.

ACS715 Current Sensor Carrier 30A

This current sensor is a carrier board or breakout board for Allegro’s ACS715LLCTR-30A-T Hall effect-based linear current sensor; we therefore recommend careful reading of the ACS715 datasheet (574k pdf) before using this product. AltIMU-10 - 10DOF IMU System

The Pololu AltIMU-10 is an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and altimeter that features the same L3GD20 gyro and LSM303DLHC accelerometer and magnetometer as the MinIMU-9 v2, and adds an LPS331AP digital barometer. An I²C interface accesses ten independent pressure, rotation, acceleration, and magnetic measurements that can be used to calculate the sensor’s altitude and absolute orientation. The board operates from 2.5 to 5.5 V and has a 0.1″ pin spacing.

Baby Orangutan B-328 Robot Controller

The Baby Orangutan B-328 is a very compact but complete robot controller, packing a high-performance AVR microcontroller and two motor drive channels in the same 24-pin form factor as competing units that include just a microcontroller. This board from Bodhilabs is a convenient way to add a step-up voltage regulator to your electronics circuit, allowing you to power your digital logic from two-cell battery packs. The board ships with its regulated output voltage set to 5 V, but you can control the output voltage by changing resistor RF2.

Brushed DC Motor: 130-Size, 6V, 11.5kRPM, 800mA Stall

This 130-size DC motor has a recommended operation voltage of 3 – 12 V and is used in the larger Pololu plastic gearmotors. Approximate specifications at 6 V: free-run speed of 11,500 RPM, free-run current of 70 mA, and stall current of 800 mA.

DRV8801 Single Brushed DC Motor Driver Carrier

This tiny breakout board for TI’s DRV8801 provides a modern alternative to classic motor drivers such as the L293D, SN754410, and L298N. It can deliver a continuous 1 A (2.8 A peak) to a single motor and offers a wide operating voltage range of 8 to 36 V. The DRV8801 features a simple two-pin speed/direction interface, current-sense feedback, and built-in protection against under-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature.

DRV8824 Stepper Motor Driver (Low Current)

The DRV8824 stepper motor driver carrier is a breakout board for TI’s DRV8824 microstepping bipolar stepper motor driver, a lower-current version of the DRV8825. The DRV8824 carrier can only deliver up to 0.75 A per coil without a heat sink (it is rated for up to 1.2 A per coil with sufficient additional cooling), but it has larger current-sense resistors that allow for improved microstepping performance at low currents. This carrier has the same pinout, interface, and features as our DRV8825 carrier, which means it can serve as a direct substitute for the DRV8825 carrier when using lower-current stepper motors.

DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver (High Current)

The DRV8825 stepper motor driver carrier is a breakout board for TI’s DRV8825 microstepping bipolar stepper motor driver. The module has a pinout and interface that are nearly identical to those of our A4988 stepper motor driver carriers, so it can be used as a higher-performance drop-in replacement for those boards in many applications. The DRV8825 features adjustable current limiting, overcurrent and overtemperature protection, and six microstep resolutions (down to 1/32-step). It operates from 8.2 – 45 V and can deliver up to approximately 1.5 A per phase without a heat sink or forced air flow (rated for up to 2.2 A per coil with sufficient additional cooling).

DRV8833 Dual Motor Driver Carrier

This tiny breakout board for TI’s DRV8833 dual motor driver can deliver 1.2 A per channel continuously (2 A peak) to a pair of DC motors. DRV8834 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier (Low Voltage)

Dual Motor Driver 14A VNH2SP30 (MD03A)

The Pololu high-power motor driver is a compact carrier for two VNH2SP30 motor driver integrated circuits from ST. The board incorporates most of the components of the typical application diagram on page 8 of the VNH2SP30 datasheet, including pull-up and current-limiting resistors and a FET for reverse battery protection. All you need to add is a microcontroller or other control circuit to turn the H-Bridge on and off.

Dual Motor Driver 9A VNH3SP30 (MD03A)

High-Power Motor Driver 36v9

The Pololu 9 Amp high-power motor driver is a discrete MOSFET H-bridge designed to drive one DC brushed motor. The H-bridge is made up of one N-channel MOSFET per leg, and most of the board’s performance is determined by these MOSFETs (the rest of the board contains the circuitry to take user inputs and control the MOSFETs). The board supports a wide 5.5 to 50 V voltage range and is efficient enough to deliver a continuous 9 A without a heat sink, or 12 A with a heat sink.

JST 3-Pin Female PH-Style Cable with Male Pins for 0.1" Housings

This 12-inch (30-cm) cable has 26 AWG wires with a 3-pin female JST PH-style connector that mates with the connector on 3-pin Sharp analog distance sensors.
