FEZ Lynx hosts a chipset (FY4232H) that is sent commands over USB to read and write digital pins, to control busses like SPI and I2C, and to read analog inputs. All of these features are available as part of the standard Gadgeteering socket map. This allows FEZ Lynx to connect to an ever-growing list of modules to sense and control the physical world, all plug and play.  If four plug-n-play sockets are not enough for your needs, no problem, the FEZ Lynx can be expanded using the Hub AP5.

Any system that is equipped with a USB Host port should work with FEZ Lynx. This includes Windows or Linux PCs, Mac, Android phones or tablets, BeagleBone and Raspberry Pi.

A complete set of open source C++ drivers are provided to control FEZ Lynx and all of the compatible modules.
